Just as September marks a new school year, it also marks the beginning of a new fashion cycle. September is when all designers, fashion shows, and magazines pull out the big guns for their fall and winter lines. September issues of magazines hit hard on what's new for school, the newest 'it' bag, and so-on and so forth. Mark this new fashion year with your favorite magazine and The September Issue, a documentary showing an exclusive look at how Anna Wintour, Vogue's editor-in-chief, puts together their biggest magazine of the year, the month of September.
For those not familiar with Anna Wintour, she is arguably the most influential person in fashion today. Lauren Weisberger's character, Miranda Priestly, in the book and motion film, The Devil Wears Prada, is rumored to be based on Ms. Wintour, as Lauren did work for her for a period of time.
